Additional Requirements

Documentation, Export/ Import through L/C, Freight Forwarding/ C&F, Import Commercial, Logistics, Purchase.

Manage all commercial activities related to foreign procurement and purchases, including the issuance of PI, L/C opening, amendments/corrections, shipment, negotiation, payment realization, and release through phone and email with overseas suppliers.
Effectively perform international procurement tasks, ensuring that all processes are managed efficiently in a timely manner.
Negotiate with existing suppliers and actively source new suppliers to optimize costs and ensure a consistent supply. Coordinate with confirming banks to secure competitive confirmations for Import L/Cs.
Maintain proper liaison with trade bodies, banks, shipping lines, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, and Customs & VAT departments to ensure smooth operations.
Follow up on Import L/C processes, ensure proper HS codes for timely customs clearance, and implement strategies to reduce additional costs.
Communicate with transport agencies to arrange for the transportation of goods from Chittagong to the warehouse.
Monitor all commercial processes related to foreign purchases to ensure they are executed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
