Requirements

- At least two years of operational and clinical experience in health operation and maintenance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability in dealing with people of various backgrounds, ages, etc; respect for diversity.
- Working experience in Cox’s Bazar district and/or knowledge of the Rohingya crisis will be a plus.
- Experience in supervision of staff and familiarity with patient flow activities in a health facility
- Knowledge of structures and functions of health clinics and environments;
- Familiarity with the health sector in Cox’s Bazar district an advantage
Responsibilities & Context
- Support Clinical Team members (Doctor, Nurse/Midwives, Pharmacy) in decision making process to ensure timely attention to patients of the Primary Healthcare Center (PHC)
- Support the arrangements for health referrals of patients in line with IOM’s protocol.
- Supervise and support patient’s experience in the PHC
- Ensure accurate collection of patient information into clinic register while maintaining quality control and confidentiality to assure appropriate flow of health data.
- Contribute to IOM health activities at the PHC
- Meet regularly with Clinical Team once in a month and discuss operational issues
- Represent clinic activities to external partners, donors
- Be respectful to patients and in positive criticism from clinic staff
- Take part in maintaining security of the clinic, its properties, equipment, furniture and fixtures
- Ensure security of health clinic staff and their work environment
- Timely update health clinic staff on any threat, risks, health issues and outbreaks
- Recommend and suggest any remedial solution for improvements in health clinic activities
- Maintain confidentiality of patients’ information and any sensitive information
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned by health clinic medical doctor
