5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the education sector or community development.§  5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the education sector or community development.§  Proven experience in leading and managing teams in field settings.§  Strong understanding of educational frameworks and challenges faced by out-of-school children.§  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.§  Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.§  Experience in community engagement, mobilization, and advocacy.§  Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to changing priorities.Desired Skills:§  Knowledge of education systems and practices, particularly in low-resource settings.§  Experience working in multi-stakeholder environments involving government, NGOs, and local communities.§  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.§  Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with the area of operation is an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement ‘Let Us Learn (LUL): Enhancing educational access and alternative learning opportunities for out-of-school children and adolescents in remote areas’ Project supported by UNICEF. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF intends to recruit project staff from qualified candidates of Bangladeshi nationals.Project Implementation and Coordination:§  Coordinate and supervise all project activities in the assigned area, ensuring that the project components (PPE, ABAL, Remedial Camps, ALP) are implemented according to the work plan.§  Develop and maintain detailed work plans and schedules for area-level activities.§  Ensure the timely delivery of project outputs and the achievement of targets in the designated area.Team Management:§  Lead and manage the area-based project team, providing guidance, support, and motivation.§  Conduct regular team meetings to monitor progress, identify challenges, and share solutions.§  Oversee the performance of field staff, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.Community Engagement and Stakeholder Coordination:§  Build and maintain relationships with local government authorities, Upazila education office, community leaders, schools, and other relevant stakeholders.§  Facilitate community mobilization activities to encourage participation in the project’s programs.§  Represent the project at area-level meetings, forums, and other relevant events.Monitoring and Reporting:§  Monitor the progress of project activities in the area, identifying any issues or bottlenecks and providing timely solutions.§  Ensure accurate data collection and reporting in line with the project’s monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework.§  Prepare and submit area-level progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.§  Regular RTM Deta Posting follow-up and Staff support.Resource Management:§  Manage resources allocated to the area, ensuring efficient and effective use of project funds, materials, and assets.§  Ensure compliance with financial and operational procedures, maintaining transparency and accountability.Risk Management and Problem Solving:§  Identify potential risks to project implementation and develop strategies to mitigate them.§  Respond promptly to issues or challenges that arise during field activities and escalate where necessary.Capacity Building:§  Support capacity-building initiatives for area-level staff and volunteers to enhance their skills and performance.§  Organize training sessions and workshops for local stakeholders to increase awareness and support for the project’s objectives.Follow the organization’s Child Safeguarding, Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Gender, and WB Policy.

Compensation & Other Benefits

Consolidated Tk. 69,878 per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
