Responsibilities & Context
The Factory Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the automobile manufacturing plant. This role involves ensuring that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and within the established safety and quality standards. The Factory Manager will lead a team of supervisors, engineers, and production staff to meet production targets and optimize resources.
. To Control and look after overall factory production including administrative work.
· Oversee and manage all aspects of the automobile manufacturing process, ensuring timely and efficient production of Two-wheeler & Three-wheeler.
· Monitor production metrics and KPIs to ensure goals are met and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
· Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards and compliance with industry regulations.
. Production floor monitoring regarding compliance issues of the factory.
. Keep track records daily, monthly and yearly production and sales relative to actual.
. Develop, implement and monitor various control systems and manage Quality Control Department.
· Manage the factory’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
. Monitor technical plant and machinery problems and undertake maintenance works to resolve all issues.
. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components Assess the actual requirement of the manpower and source the right people for the factory accordingly.
. Coordinate and monitor the quality in purchasing raw materials.
. Develop SOPs regarding highest production.
. Ensure production process and output meet defined quality and safety standards.
. Ensure the following of Labor Laws, industrial safety, social compliance, and human rights standards in the factory.
. Any other task assigned by the management.
