Responsibilities & Context
Job Summary:
Exploration Global Healthcare Network And Consultancy Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biomedical Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of field experience in troubleshooting and servicing critical electro-medical equipment, including ventilators, anesthesia machines, C-Arms, X-ray machines, OT tables, and other medical devices. This role requires excellent technical expertise in medical device maintenance and the ability to respond to on-site issues promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of medical devices, including ventilators, anesthesia machines, C-Arms, X-ray machines, OT tables, and other electro-medical equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance checks to ensure optimal functionality and safety of medical devices.
Respond to service requests and provide on-site technical support to healthcare facilities, ensuring minimal downtime of critical equipment.
• Installation and Calibration:
Oversee the installation, setup, and calibration of new medical devices according to manufacturer specifications and safety protocols.
Ensure equipment is properly configured and functioning as required before clinical use.
• Compliance and Safety:
Adhere to regulatory and safety standards for medical equipment, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Maintain detailed service records and logs for all equipment, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Technical Support and Training:
Provide technical support and training to hospital staff and technicians on the proper operation and maintenance of medical devices.
Stay updated on medical device technologies and advancements.
• Field Service and Client Interaction:
Travel to client sites for troubleshooting, repairs, and scheduled maintenance activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and facility managers.
• Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare detailed service reports after each job, outlining the issues addressed, parts replaced, and maintenance activities performed.
Monitor equipment performance trends and recommend replacements or upgrades as needed
