Responsibilities & Context
- Product Assortment Planning: Assist in planning the product mix and assortment for upcoming seasons. This includes evaluating past sales data and customer feedback to make recommendations for future collections.
- Inventory Management: Help track and manage inventory levels to ensure that stock is replenished in a timely manner. This may involve monitoring sales data, coordinating with suppliers, and assisting in stock audits.
- Vendor Coordination: Support communication with vendors and suppliers. This includes tracking order statuses, ensuring timely deliveries, and addressing any issues related to product quality or supply chain delays.
- Visual Merchandising: Assist in developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies for retail stores or online platforms. This can involve creating appealing displays and layouts that enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
- Sales Analysis: Analyze sales reports and performance metrics to understand trends and identify opportunities for improvement. This data helps in making informed decisions about future merchandising strategies.
- Marketing and Promotions: Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities. This might include working on social media content, email marketing, and in-store promotions.
- Product Development: Collaborate with the design and development teams to provide feedback on product designs, color trends, and materials based on market research and consumer insights.
