Requirements
Education
The candidate must have BSc in Textile Engineering with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations
Experience
- At least 1 year
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (FMCG), Retail Store, Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Healthcare/Lifestyle product - Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
- Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential Candidates
- Knowledge on textile design, Yarn types & category, weaving process, Fabric type & category, Silk Dyeing process & Quality of dyeing materials and mercenaries for silk twisting & weaving
- Required competencies: Fabrics production process and quality control including raw materials sourcing, Self-awareness, Relationship building, Reporting and analytical ability, Self-driven and result oriented, Ability to motivate others as excellent team player, Time and Stress management, Change management
- Excellent in report writing, budgeting, people management, work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment
Responsibilities & Context
- Ensure the monitoring and implementation of silk production process, silk dyeing process and quality of dyeing chemical
- Maintain the improvement of silk weaving and dyeing quality
- Ensure the timely supply of silk products as per Aarong demands
- Ensure the technical support to the producers for all types of raw materials sourcing like silk yarn, dyeing materials and other raw materials
- Maintain the coordination with silk producers, Aarong Design, Quality control
- Manage the costing of fabrics and QC requisition
- Prepare different report and share with the management
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
- Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
