Responsibilities & Context
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and Develop Applications: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP with Laravel, ensuring code quality and best practices.
- Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas and queries using MySQL, ensuring efficient data retrieval for large datasets.
- API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange between frontend and backend systems. Create detailed documentation using tools like Swagger, Postman, or similar. Ensure the documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and user-friendly for developers and stakeholders
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize server-side code, and improve application scalability.
- Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and provide technical guidance to the team.
- DevOps and Deployment: Collaborate with the DevOps team to manage deployment pipelines using Git, Docker, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
- Third-Party Integrations: Integrate third-party services and APIs, such as payment gateways, social logins, and external data sources.
- Unit Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests and debug complex issues to ensure the reliability and stability of applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
