Responsibilities & Context
- Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Design and execute strategies to increase occupancy, group bookings, and corporate partnerships.
- Manage and oversee all revenue-generating activities, including corporate bookings, leisure sales, group sales, and event bookings.
- Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to ensure optimal pricing and promotions.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize room rates and maximize revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners, and key stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), and travel agencies.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable deals.§ Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure they meet their individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve productivity and sales performance.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.§ Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at increasing visibility and driving sales.
- Plan and execute sales events, trade shows, and networking events to showcase the resort and generate leads.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, preparing regular updates for senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales performance based on data analysis and market feedback.
- Track customer satisfaction and ensure service excellence is maintained.
