Education

Bachelors degree in Agriculture / Nutrition. Master in Development Studies will add value.

Experience

  • At least 5 years

Additional Requirements

  • 05 years work experience in Nutrition or food security field with 02 years of managing project / programme is required.
  • Good Skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint are required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is required
  • Experience in managing project / programme budget is desirable
  • Pro- active with an ability to think analytically
  • Results oriented team player with excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to solve problems with good decision making skills

Responsibilities & Context

Job Purpose:

Coordinating the implementation of the food security component of the PRM funded SuBaSh consortium programme including planning, initiation, quality service delivery, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and coordination with sector and local authorities.

Main duties & responsibilities:

Programme Implementation

  • Coordinate training of programme team for implementation of their individual roles, with the expected quality in food security activities
  • Plan and oversee the programme participants selection process to ensure impartiality in identification of the vulnerable groups, within the programme coverage areas includeing partners

  • Plan and oversee the formation of Support Groups and other programme participants groups according to programme design and likewise support local partners
  • Support to develop methods and establoshment of kitchen garden / homestead garden in the camps and host
  • Support the development and adaption of context specific IEC materials for training and capacity building of programme staff and beneficiaries
  • Support programme team under supervision to ensure quality sessions on maternal, infant and young child nutrition (MIYCN)
  • Operationalise a regular cascading training plan for staff, support Groups as per programme design
  • Coordinate the distribution of programme materials to target beneficiaries, and their utilisation as per programme design to achieve programme objectives
  • Support and ensure on the job support and coaching to the programme team to maintain high quality and accountability to beneficiaries.

Compensation & Other Benefits

Monthly Gross Salary : BDT 91,400-BDT 100,769/-
