Additional Requirements

· Experience with additional PHP frameworks like Symfony, CodeIgniter, or Yii.

· Familiarity with task runners and build tools (e.g., Gulp, Webpack).

· Experience with automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Behat, etc.).

· Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

· Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.

Responsibilities & Context

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs.

• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Laravel and web development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Proven experience as a Software Developer with a strong focus on Laravel.

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies.

• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.

• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Experience with database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Understanding of front-end technologies like Vue.js, React, or Angular (preferred).

• Knowledge of security best practices in web application development.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with Docker, Vagrant, or other containerization and virtualization technologies is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
