Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology, Master of Science (MSc) in Textile Technology

A Bachelor’s degree, Master’s in Quality Management, Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing), Textile Technology, or a related field is required.

Experience

Candidates should be based in Chittagong.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably within a buying house and as well as manufacturing or factory environment. Hands-on experience with quality inspection, testing, and management is essential.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques, including statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA). Experience with quality inspection equipment and software for data analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of Standards: Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations relevant to the manufacturing sector, such as ISO standards, ASTM standards, or industry-specific guidelines.
Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues effectively using structured problem-solving methods.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with production teams, suppliers, and management, and to document and report quality-related information.
Attention to Detail: Proven ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and maintain high accuracy in quality control processes and documentation.
Relevant Coursework: Coursework or training in statistical analysis, quality control techniques, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
Continuing Education (Optional): Additional training or workshops in quality management systems, advanced inspection techniques, or industry-specific standards.
Also, must have experience in woven & knit working in both manufacturing and buying house.

Position Overview: We are looking for a Quality Executive with 3-5 years of experience in quality control or assurance for a reputed buying house having experiences both in buying house & factory to ensure our products meet and exceed the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance Management: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications. Monitor and oversee the quality of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing of materials, products, and processes to identify defects or deviations from quality standards. Utilize various testing equipment and methods to evaluate product quality and performance.
Problem Identification and Resolution: Investigate quality issues and defects to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality concerns promptly.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports. Prepare and present detailed quality reports to management, highlighting key issues and trends.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all quality control processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant standards. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
Training and Support: Train and mentor production staff on quality control procedures and best practices. Provide guidance and support to employees to foster a quality-oriented culture within the factory.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality improvement projects.
Supplier and Vendor Quality Management: Assess and monitor the quality performance of suppliers and vendors to ensure the consistent quality of incoming materials. Collaborate with suppliers to address any quality issues and work on quality improvement plans.
Customer Feedback Management: Analyze customer feedback and complaints related to product quality and work with relevant teams to address and resolve these issues. Implement measures to enhance customer satisfaction and prevent recurrence of similar issues.
Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that quality control activities are conducted in accordance with safety and hygiene standards. Promote a safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
