Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for Territory Sales and Service Officers (TSSOs), who will be responsible for driving sales of batteries for electric tri-cycles and rickshaws in their designated regions, as well as providing after-sales service.

Responsibilities:

Sales Expansion:

  • Market Development: Identify and target new sales opportunities within the territory, focusing on potential clients in the electric tri-cycle, rickshaw, solar and IPS market.
  • Dealer Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new customers while nurturing relationships with existing clients.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals set by the Zonal Manager.
  • Market Research: Conduct ongoing market analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Garage Marketing Campaign: Regularly visit garages where rickshaws are parked and charged to market products directly to drivers and mechanics.
  • Sales Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities, progress towards targets, and market conditions to the Zonal Manager.

After-Sales Service:

  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to dealers and end customers, resolving any issues related to battery performance or installation.
  • Warranty Management: Manage the 6-month warranty period for sold batteries, ensuring that any reported issues are promptly addressed.
  • Battery Inspection: Conduct inspections of batteries reported as defective to determine the cause of the issue and validate warranty claims.
  • Battery Replacement: Facilitate the replacement of defective batteries within the warranty period, coordinating with the logistics and service teams.
  • Service Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all service requests, inspections, and replacements in the CRM system.
  • Service Reporting: Regularly compile and submit service reports that detail the number and nature of service requests, warranty claims, resolutions, and any patterns or recurring issues.

Dealer Relationship Management:

  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Customer Visits: Regularly visit customers to assess their needs, provide technical support, and explore opportunities for additional sales.
  • Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with customers regarding service requests, warranty claims, and other issues.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback on products and services to inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monthly Reporting: Provide customers with a detailed monthly ledger and sales statement, along with a report on warranty claims and the solutions implemented.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Internal Coordination: Work closely with Sales Managers, logistics, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and order fulfillment.
  • Feedback Loop: Provide insights to the Sales Manager and Product Development teams based on customer feedback and market conditions.
