Responsibilities & Context
The Production Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the production process for two-wheeler and three-wheeler vehicles. This includes planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing activities to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing, with experience in managing production teams and processes specific to two-wheelers and three-wheelers.
Develop, implement, and manage production schedules to meet demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing costs.
Lead and supervise production staff, including supervisors, technicians, and assembly line workers.
Provide training and development to enhance team performance.
Ensure that all products meet established quality standards.
Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality.
Monitor and control inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure smooth production flow and avoid shortages.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure that all machinery and equipment are well-maintained and operational.
Monitor production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and develop strategies to reduce expenses without compromising quality.
Generate production reports, including daily output, efficiency, and quality metrics.
Work closely with other departments such as procurement, logistics, quality assurance, and R&D to ensure a seamless production process.
