Responsibilities & Context

  • Ensure to operate cruise ship efficiently and in compliance with all safety and industry regulations.
  •  Collaborate closely with the operations team to gain insights into cruise operation-related costs, ensuring accurate pricing and cost-effectiveness in travel packages.
  •  Actively promote and sell Sundarbans travel packages to the potential clients / guest through various sales platforms.
  •  Demonstrate the ability to grasp quickly and utilize the online booking portal for efficient booking and reservation management.
  • Client Relationship Management Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients to ensure constant business and positive referrals.
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service and guest satisfaction of the cruises.
  • Industry Awareness Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings to adapt and enhance our packages accordingly.
  • Prepare comprehensive quotations and proposals for clients, ensuring all inclusions and exclusions are clearly outlined.
  •  Customization tailor travel packages to meet individual client needs and preferences, providing personalized experiences.·        Pricing and Negotiation offer competitive pricing to clients and engage in effective negotiation to secure bookings and favorable terms.
  •  Itinerary Planning: Collaborate with clients to plan detailed itineraries that cater to their interests and requirements.
  • Sundarbans Expertise Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Sundarbans region, including its unique attractions, wildlife, and cultural aspects.
  •  Administrative tasks related to bookings, sales records, and any other operational responsibilities.
  • Client Feedback Actively collect and utilize client feedback to continually improve the quality of services and travel experiences.
  • Sales Records Maintain accurate sales records and prepare reports using Microsoft Excel to track performance and analyze sales data.
  •  Reporting Submit sales reports on a fortnightly and monthly basis to provide insights and track progress.
  • Collaborate with the accounts department to ensure accurate financial transactions and records related to travel sales.
  • Marketing Collaboration Work closely with the marketing team to develop and promote special promotions and marketing initiatives for Sundarbans travel packages.
  • Compliance Ensure strict adherence to company policies and regulations to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Feedback Loop Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the quality and appeal of Sundarbans travel packages, contributing to product development.
  • Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and manage the cruise’s budget, cost management and financial efficiency.
  • Monitor revenue and expenses, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies and ensure the safety of all onboard.
  • Manage logistics and supplies to meet the cruise’s operational needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with maritime regulations, industry standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Ensure the cruise ship complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
