Skill and Competencies:

Experience:

At least 7 years of experience whereas 3 years in emergency set up.
Excellent communication skills, especially writing and speaking in English and Bangla.
Have strong interpersonal skills.
Capable to work under pressure.
Have the leadership quality of standing out from the crowd.
Sound knowledge on MS Word, MS Excel, Power point, Outlook and other relevant computer skills.
Have strong team working skills and a collaborative approach to learning, both face-to-face and remotely to implement project activities.

Responsible for:

Providing technical support to the Assistant Field Officers under his/her supervision and ensuring quality implementation of the project.

Activities:

Prepare an effective monthly individual work plan and achievements accordingly.
Prepare an effective monthly zonal work plan and implement it accordingly.
Ensure implementation of the project activities in line with the zonal workplan and budget.
Manage at least 75 Educational facilities and support the teachers and staff training as and when required.
Supervise Assistant Field Officers and provide technical support to them.
Supervise and monitor the Education facilities under his/her supervision, identify the potential risks, weakness & gaps, take initiatives to improve and keep all concerned updated.
Collect and disseminate necessary information gathered from government and other actors/agencies and share it to the respective line managers accordingly.
Conduct dialogue with parents, community members and other stakeholders.
Attend the relevant meetings and present Friendship initiatives to the audience.
Provide technical and logistic supports to the staffs and teachers.
Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and final programmatic reports.
Keep liaison with relevant NGOs, GOB officials and education/child protection-related organizations for effective program implementation and enhancement of the quality.
Provide monthly requisition for materials and ensure supplies to the educational centres.
Be ready to work in any circumstance or emergency in the working areas.
Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor and organization.
