Additional Requirements

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in steel fixing, particularly in large-scale projects (e.g., high-rises, commercial complexes, or infrastructure).
Skills:
Proficiency in reading blueprints and structural drawings to install rebar as per design specifications.
Expertise in cutting, bending, and tying rebar for reinforced concrete structures such as slabs, beams, columns, and foundations.
Skilled in using tools like rebar cutters, benders, and tying machines.
Knowledge of splicing, lapping, and anchoring techniques to ensure structural integrity.
Certifications:
OSHA/NEBOSH safety certification is advantageous.
Certification in steel fixing or construction-related trades is preferred.
Health and Safety:
Familiarity with safety protocols for handling heavy materials and tools.
Proper use of PPE such as gloves, helmets, and boots.
Understanding of fall protection and safety when working at heights or in hazardous conditions.
Physical Requirements:
Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy rebar and work in physically demanding conditions.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Soft Skills:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, following instructions from foremen or supervisors.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate installation of rebar according to designs and safety standards.
