Additional Requirements
- Age 28 to 40 years
Working experience with NGO, Development Agency in WASH response.
Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
Work experience in Cox’s bazar preferable.
Professional work experience in borehole, bore log, lithology, data logger operation, bore hole monitoring etc.
Experience in different WASH project implementation, monitoring, operation and reporting.
Proficient knowledge about Aquifer, Borehole parameter, Borehole test (pumping test).
Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (AutoCAD, Borehole monitoring software, GIS software, MS Word, Excel etc.)
Medium in English (written/verbal)
Responsibilities & Context
Supervision of installation of data logger, dip meter, submersible pump etc.
Conduct regular inspections of data logger, dip meter and ground water monitoring.
Collect water level, water pressure & temperature data according to the work plan and submit it to the respective supervisor.
Research and analyze the data on environmental impact of pollution, erosion, drought and other problems.
Conduct regular inspection of water quality at field and supervision of disinfection process of all WASH facilities.
Monitoring submersible pump, data logger for water level, water pressure and temperature, dip meter set up etc.
Provide technical support for production borehole drilling as well preparing bore log report, geophysical logging & use of water logger at bore hole.
Provide a technical support to conduct Pump test to ensure maximum level of abstraction rate for meeting up the demand.
Provide necessary support to project team as required.
Work closely with project management team as well as UNICEF & Dhaka University Ground Water Monitoring team at Cox’s Bazar.
