Responsibilities & Context
Responsible for:
-
Dispensing prescriptions.
-
Organize and manage the medicine store.
-
Proper management of near expired and expired medicines.
-
Communicate With Prescribers.
-
Ensure Patients’ Safety.
-
Ensure patient’s understanding medical prescriptions.
-
Work With Patients on General Health.
-
Educate Health Provider Colleagues.
-
Stock Management.
-
Maintain diligently all records including Stock Register & Challans.
Activities:
-
Dispensing according to prescription.
-
Dissemination of accurate information to the patients regarding medications and their usage.
-
Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
-
Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients’ questions.
-
Ensure stock management and proper record keeping.

Ensure medicine shelf life.
Skill and Competencies:
Educational Qualification:
-
Diploma in Pharmacy from Govt. approved Institution.
-
Should have license from Bangladesh pharmacy council.
-
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as pharmacist.
Analytical skills:

Ability to think critically.

Strong numerical skills.
