Responsibilities & Context
Job Context: We are looking for Native Android and iOS Developers to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of high-quality applications. If the candidate has experience with both Android and iOS that will be great. If not, candidates with experience in either Android or iOS are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Android:
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”.
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notificationsA knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
iOS:
- Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Objective-C and Swift.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define app features and functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and user experience.Integrate third-party libraries and APIs to enhance app functionality.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Participate in the full application lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.Ensure the application is responsive, user-friendly, and meets design specifications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
