Requirements

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing
  • Lower educational background will only be considered for candidates with EXCEPTIONAL and relevant work experience.

Experience

  • At most 12 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Group of Companies, Battery, Storage cell, Dry cell (Battery), Food (Packaged)

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 55 years
  • Candidate should have minimum 2 years experience as Head of Sales for FMCG company
  • Candidate should have minimum 5 years experience as in charge of team of at least 400 sales officers
  • Must have spent at least 5 years as overall in charge of a national distribution network of a significant size (minimum 500+ people).
  • Males will be given significant preference for this post; females are not encouraged to apply. Candidates must have experience in direct Sales.
  • Candidates MUST have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and as an effective leader of a team Must have a professional and courteous personality for dealing with clients.
  • Candidate should be persuasive, dynamic, high motivated, reliable and be willing to be a long-term and loyal employee company.

Responsibilities & Context

  • Candidate will be responsible for looking after all sales related activities for the entire country.
  • Candidate must report to both their supervisors in Sales in Marketing team and work with Supply Chain department to ensure smooth operation of sales and manufacturing.
  • Will set the monthly and yearly sales targets and evaluate actual sales every month for the entire company. Will also be responsible for setting plan to achieve goals and targets for all sales staff under their jurisdiction.
  • Must monitor daily sales activities to achieve the target set by the management
  • Must make regular market visits both to existing and potential markets to grow sales in weak areas and find new areas for growth. Must be in the field for at least 10 days in a month
  • Will oversee conducting monthly sales meetings.
  • Will be responsible for monitoring the performance and activities for over 700 strong sales team.
  • Must conduct regular market survey and appoint distributors in their designated region.
  • Will be responsible for ensuring the correct distributors are appointed.
  • Will ensure timely delivery and safety stock maintenance for all distributors in their assigned zones
  • Conduct regular competitive market analysis to ensure that the company is well-positioned against competitors.
  • Applicant should have pleasant personality and be honest and hardworking with a good educational background and strong emotional and actual intelligence.
  • Perform any other activities as may be required to support the management and the sales team.
