Additional Requirements

• Hands-on development experience in ABAP on HANA with good exposure to the different types and complexities of developments using classic and newer technologies.
• Experience with S/4 HANA Extensibility Framework/Techniques
• Solid understanding of web development technologies like SAP UI5, HTML5, Web Services, SOAP, JavaScript & Web frameworks.
• Strong hands-on knowledge in end-to-end UX development cycle & design principles such as Fiori.
• Detailed experience in ABAP CDS views, oDATA, REST/JSON, XML (including debugging)
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in debugging and root cause analysis and the ability to propose/implement suitable resolutions for such issues as bug fixes and performance tuning, etc.
• Good knowledge of business processes in more than one of the following S/4 HANA modules: SD, MM, PP, EWM, and APO.
• Experience in CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) & RAP (RESTful ABAP Application Programming model)
• Hands on experience of tools like Business Application Studio, SAP HANA Studio/Eclipse & GIT
• Minimum 2+ years of CORE ABAP Experience with 1 year working in S/4HANA environments in medium to large scale. 
• Experience in requirement analysis and effort estimation with WBS     
• Ability to drill down into technical issues and solve complex and detailed problems
• Ability to deliver clear, concise presentations and present complex information in a clear and precise manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities & Context

• Design, develop or build, improve, test and support Applications using ABAP on HANA

• Provide technical guidance to product owners, Scrum master, functional teams, testing teams, compliance, and other development team members across different sectors /platforms

• Provide documented technical design proposals, estimates, specifications, and maintenance guides

• Collaborate with External Vendor Consultants from Onsite/Offshore locations

• Lead and own the entire development process, from designing and implementing user-friendly UIs to developing robust back-end functionalities and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP products

• Guide/ lead architecture decisions in your team based on industry standards and best practices, lead adherence to architectural principles, SAP product-specific guidelines, and product standards      

• Design, code, test and assure quality of complex product features via Agile techniques.·         Verify that the delivered product meets the functional and design requirements and sign off on delivery

• Investigate, analyze complex problems; and resolve critical issues

• Be an expert in the SAP BTP ABAP Environment, a cutting-edge Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering for ABAP Cloud Development  

• Be an expert of SAP Integration Suite to drive integration of cloud-based processes, services, applications, events and data

• Be actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, and Go Live of customer implementation projects   

• Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops/meetings with internal and external clients

• Analyze business processes and assisting in defining the scope of a project/opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines 

• Upgrade and migration of SAP systems
