Responsibilities & Context

• JMI Industrial Gas Limited, a flagship Strategic Business Unit of JMI Group engages in the import, bottling, and distribution of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as well as Ethylene Oxide (EO) Gas. JIGL is uniquely poised to cater to the demand of the country and has the surplus capacity to export to overseas markets.

• We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual for an immediate appointment, who will look after Quality Assurance activities. 

• Analyze chemicals, and raw materials and prepare test solutions and compounds for conducting tests.

• Ensure that the finished goods’ quality follows approved samples and specifications.

• Observing production processes, conducting research and finding ways to increase efficiency and quality.

• Overall Chemical management of the factory.

• Testing RM & finished product to ensure compatibility in the production line.

• Monitor critical equipment and instrumentation to ensure proper operation and calibration.

• Perform water analysis for drinking water and wastewater in-house laboratory or third-party laboratory.

• Perform and check the performance qualification or calibration of laboratory testing equipment.

• Developing and implementing safety procedures for staff working with hazardous materials and ensuring environmental safety from chemical hazards.

• Ensure compliance with production floor health and safety guidelines.

• To operate the Effluent Treatment Plant and oversee waste disposal and treatment programs.

• Any other task assigned by the factory Management.
