Responsibilities & Context
Context:
We are looking for a highly skilled Yarn Quality Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various types of yarn, their properties, and their applications in different textile processes. You will be responsible for selecting the best yarns for specific projects, ensuring quality control, and advising on the most suitable yarns for new product development. Your role will involve working closely with designers, manufacturers, and quality assurance teams to ensure that the yarns used meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Job Responsibilities:

Select appropriate yarns for production.

Ensure quality control of yarns used in production. Advise on the best yarns for new product development.

Collaborate with designers and manufacturers.
-
Stay updated on industry trends and innovations. Provide training and support to team members.

Conduct yarn testing and analysis.

Maintain detailed records of yarn specifications.
-
Manage yarn inventory and procurement.
-
Troubleshoot yarn-related issues in production.
-
Develop and implement yarn quality standards.

Coordinate with suppliers for yarn sourcing.
-
Evaluate the performance of different yarns.
-
Prepare reports on yarn quality and performance.

Assist in the development of new textile products.

Make yarn manufacturing costing like CW, KW, PC, CVC, LYCRA & ETC.

Working experience in different processes such as Cotton (KW & CW), Nylon, PC, CVC, POLYESTER, FLAX, VISCOSE, Tencel, Lycra, Slub, Lycra Slub.

Experienced in different Recycled polyester & Air cover etc.
-
Able to ensure optimum yarn quality.
