Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Bengali, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preference given to candidates with backgrounds in Education, English, Bangla, or related disciplines).

Additional Requirements

Exceptional written and oral communication skills in both Bangla and English.

Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Microsoft Word.
Demonstrated ability to type rapidly and accurately in Unicode Bangla.
Ownership of a personal laptop or portable computing device.
Working knowledge of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini.
Strong computer literacy and technical aptitude.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in converting existing content into a highly effective online teacher training program for higher secondary schools in Bangladesh.
Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a brief assignment as part of the evaluation process.

Responsibilities & Context

10 Minute School is looking for talented individuals to join the Higher Secondary Education Project (HSEP), which aims to implement a Comprehensive Learning Management System (CLMS) across 3,300 colleges in Bangladesh. This USAID-funded project focuses on pedagogical training for higher secondary teachers. The CLMS will adopt a blended learning approach, incorporating both online and in-person learning and covering synchronous (live classes) and asynchronous content (recorded lectures, assignment submission, quizzes) to ensure the delivery of quality education. The project aims to directly benefit over 200,000 teachers and principals and indirectly over 3 million students, enhancing the educational landscape across the country.

As a Content Developer, your role will involve organizing existing Bangla and English content into smaller, more accessible PDF materials, as well as developing learning materials and assessments for the PMO team. You will also play a key role in crafting a training plan for teachers and regularly reviewing content to ensure it aligns with educational standards, supporting the overall objective of enhancing the quality of digital education under the HSEP project.

Key Responsibilities:

Transform and restructure existing curriculum content into concise, interactive online learning modules tailored for teacher training programs at the higher secondary level.
Collaborate with the PMO team to refine and optimize the teacher training program structure.
Meticulously ensure the accuracy and quality of all materials in both Bangla and English.
Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on all developed content to ensure it is error-free, aligned with the curriculum, and meets the highest standards of instructional design.
Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and clarity.
