Additional Requirements

S/he must have good experience in livestock and agriculture value chain development, supply chain, school feeding project.
Capable and willing to ride on a motorcycle (with valid driving license) for field visits and travel by local transports.
Presentable, smart, energetic, proactive, hardworking, self-motivated, positive attitude, committed team player, good analytical skills and dynamic.
Strong in computer office programs like MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, internet use etc.
Ability to adapt and work with all culture, gender, religion, race, nationality and age.
Ability and willingness to travel and stay in the field.
Good communication skill.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Location: Project area (Raigonj and Ullapara ).

Job Context: NDP invites application as a cooperating partner of Heifer International, Bangladesh to implement ÒBD Beef & Goat Value Chain Signature ProgramÓ in Ullapara, Sirajganj of Bangladesh to facilitate marketing and creating brand of the meat.

Responsibilities:

Facilitation of the training, exchange visit and follow up Self- Help Groups (SHGs)
Facilitation of SHG meetings under the leadership of the SHG Chairperson.
Home visit and coaching.
Facilitation of SHG PSRP (Participatory Self Review and Planning) and document and follow up.
Coordinating with the project partners, Heifer office and other stakeholders.
Reporting and documentation at the SHG level, including group records.
Facilitating new initiatives in the SHG.
Ensuring four basic qualities of a good SHG; group size, commitment to help themselves, group savings and inclusiveness of neighbors.
Ensuring project implementation at the SHG level.
Reinforce the Heifer’s Cornerstones.
SHG formation management and strengthening.
Assisting in SHG savings and fund mobilization.
Facilitation of the Passing on the Gift.
Facilitation SHGs in formation of federation/ Cooperative, business hubs and milk collection centers.
Maintaining SHGs all documents properly.
Arrangement of SHG meeting and properly conduct meeting as per project requirement.
Preparing reports (Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly).
Reportable to the Project coordinator and performing project related any activity as per supervisor’s instructions.

Compensation & Other Benefits

Salary Range: Monthly BDT 25,000 and other benefits as per project budget.
