Responsibilities & Context

  • S. A GROUP OF INDUSTRIES is looking for an experienced person for the position of Paper Sales Manager in its Sales Force.
  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement Pulp & Paper sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and profitability. Analyze market trends and competitors to adjust the sales approach. Forecast sales and set performance goals for the sales team.
  • Team Management Recruit, train, and manage the Paper sales team. Assign Pulp & Paper sales territories, quotas, and goals to the team. Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback or coaching.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Address Pulp & Paper customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Pulp & Paper Sales Operations & Reporting Oversee daily sales operations, including order processing, invoicing, and delivery coordination. Track sales metrics and produce regular reports for senior management. Monitor inventory levels to ensure products are available to meet customer demand.
  • Budgeting & Financial Oversight Prepare and manage the Pulp & Paper sales budget, including sales expenses and revenue targets. Control costs to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.
  • New Business Development Identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. Expand the company’s customer base by targeting new markets or industries.
  • Marketing Collaboration Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotions, advertising campaigns, and branding initiatives. Provide input on product development and innovation based on Paper customer feedback and market research.
  • Compliance & Risk Management Ensure all Pulp & Paper sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Manage contract negotiations and ensure sales agreements are beneficial to the company.
  • Performance Monitoring & Improvement Continuously assess the effectiveness of the sales strategies and adjust as needed. Utilize data analytics and sales reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and growth opportunities.
  • The incumbent’s duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Work closely with Dept. Head in implementation of Paper sales forecasts & strategies in the assigned area.
  • Visit Pulp & Paper market places, search new business opportunities and recommend appointment of new Distributors in uncovered areas.
  • Monitor activities and motivate Team Members to ensure productivity; thus achievement of Pulp & Paper Sales target Demand forecast and ensure stock inventory of Distributors’ warehouses, on a regular basis.
  • Ensure close monitoring of distributor’s business transactions on a day-to-day basis and liaison with other stakeholders for achieving the sales target. Ensure documentation of work (at all phases) in compliance with company policy & procedures.
