Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Chimbuk Ceramics Ltd is looking for a result oriented, self-motivated and hard working professionals having experience in sales & marketing of Structural Clay Products ((such as Clay Cladding Tiles, Roof Tiles, Pavers & Glaze Tiles products).

As a Manager in the Sales & Marketing Department you will play a critical role in driving the sales strategy, developing client relationships, and achieving revenue growth for our Structural Clay Product such as glaze & non-glaze Cladding, Roof, Pavers & different types of Terracotta Tiles manufacturing company. You will manage key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and market expansion. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in sales, excellent market knowledge, and the ability to drive sales growth while maintaining strong customer relationships. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals and expand the company’s client base.
  • Collect regular market information about customers as well as competitors
  • Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and ensure long-term business relationships. 
  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities in line with company objectives. 
  • Collaborate with production, marketing, and product development teams to align sales strategies with production capabilities and market trends.
  •  Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to identify areas for business growth and product improvement.
  • Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management. 
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to build brand awareness and identify new market opportunities.
  • Promoting the company’s existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers while ensuring profitability and competitive advantage.
  • Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends to draft reports.
  • Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new marketing opportunities.
  • Implementing new sales plans and advertising.
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.    
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features).   
  • Explore new buyers and maintain regular communication with existing buyers.    
  • New export market creation all over the world.     
  • Design and implement all export strategies and activities and ensure adherence to all project requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and train junior sales staff to develop a high-performing sales team. 
  • Identify the training need of sales team members and ensure proper training is provided.
  • Carry out frequent field visits to ensure customer conversion. Maintain proper communication with the customer to stimulate customer conversion. Submit proposals to potential clients for customer conversion.
  • Coordinate with other related departments to ensure availability of products, products requirements, customer requirements etc. to ensure minimum lead time and maximum customer support.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality assurance, Engineering and Technical departments for smooth execution of order.
  • Ensure sales through Distributor channel, corporate channel, Contractor (govt. NGO, individual) and Tender to earn revenue. Track competition’s strategies and activities to recommend necessary actions on company’s behalf. Prepare Tender documents and submit timely for participating in profitable projects.
  • Assist in new product sourcing for client and company.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Keep close liaison and to Co-ordinate with the Head of the Department addressing day to day development.
  • Analyze and convey feedback on competitive / competitors’ products.
  • Managing distribution channel and logistics to deliver services.
  • Conversant with functionality and technical parameters of tiles and able to guide the customers to choose right products.
  • Ensure proper and systematic display of tiles at the outlets of the dealers and other relevant area.
  • Represents the company and its products to the assigned territories.
  • Prepare sales forecast & market analysis as per requirement of top management.
  • Ensure smooth delivery of the products and monitor proper documentation.
  • Any other tasks in addition to the above-mentioned tasks assigned by management from time to time.
