Job Title: Transport Manager
Company: Alvi Tourist Car Limited
Job Context:
Alvi Tourist Car Limited is a car rental service with a fleet of 10-12 vehicles. We are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to oversee fleet operations, ensure vehicle maintenance, handle repairs, and manage the financial aspects related to rentals. Candidates with prior experience in transport management will be prioritized. Additionally, retired military personnel are encouraged to apply, as they will be given preference during the selection process.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Monitoring:
- Manage the rental process, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Keep detailed records of each vehicle’s condition, usage, and maintenance history.
Maintenance and Repair:
- Ensure vehicles undergo routine maintenance and address any mechanical issues promptly.
- Coordinate with mechanics and handle repairs in case of accidents or breakdowns.
Financial Management:
- Manage collection of rental fees, maintain transaction records, and prepare financial reports.
- Handle invoices and ensure proper billing for repairs or servicing.
Accident and Emergency Handling:
- Address emergencies, such as accidents or breakdowns, and coordinate repair and insurance processes.
Reporting:
- Provide regular reports to management regarding fleet status, income from rentals, and repair expenses.
- Report any incidents or vehicle discrepancies.
- Driver Relations: Interact with drivers, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
