Responsibilities & Context

  • Manage the overall Hire Sales and Collection activities of Walton Plaza.
  • Plan, develop, and execute strategies to achieve higher sales and collection targets.
  • Monitor and follow up on sales performance and collection efficiency.
  • Take proactive steps to increase customer engagement and improve payment collection rates.
  • Implement strategies to reduce overdue accounts and defaults in hire sales.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Divisional Credit Manager (DCM) and Regional Credit Manager (RCM).
  • Ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration within the credit management team.
  • Monitor team performance and set clear goals to achieve credit sales targets.
  • Conduct regular training and development sessions for the team to enhance their skills in credit sales and collections.
  • Ensure that all Walton Plaza outlets undergo a regular plaza survey to assess sales potential and customer satisfaction.
  • Organize and oversee installment fairs to boost hire sales.
  • Implement initiatives to increase the visibility of Walton’s products and services through these fairs and promotional activities.
  • Ensure the physical verification of hire accounts to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Take measures to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Lead all compliance matters to ensure that sales and credit activities are in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement measures to enhance the paying percentage of hire accounts.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports on sales and collections to the Managing Director.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop actionable insights to guide decision-making and improve overall performance.
  • Develop strategies to reduce the number of default accounts in hire sales.
  • Implement risk assessment measures to minimize exposure to bad debts.
  • Work closely with the finance team to align credit sales strategies with risk management policies.
  • Enhance customer relationships to drive repeat sales and improve customer loyalty.
  • Address customer concerns and disputes promptly to maintain a positive brand image.
  • Provide solutions to customer issues related to hire sales and credit arrangements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Managing Director or higher authority.
  • Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the credit sales department.
