WORKING EXPERIENCES:

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts & Admin.

· Working experience with any international donor funded project will get preference·

Basic knowledge and skills in office admin.

· Knowledge on software-based operations including WatchDog etc. and skills on block party screening (BPS) test.

· Proven knowledge on admin and financial troubleshooting, negotiation, communication and collaborative initiatives

· Knowledge and skills on Government statutory matter (VAT, TAX, revenue stamp act)

NECESSARY SKILLS:

· Ensure integrated, budgeting and monitoring following budget guidelines·        Ensure proper Financial Management Systems are in place at the project  Level·        Record keeping and reporting to stakeholders.

· Ensure proper office Administration Management through effective administrative functions·

Professional and performance development

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams and multi-cultural environments.

·  Fluency in Bengali and English is required, skills in the local language are preferable.

· Computer software skills (MS Word, Excel, and Access or any accounting software, etc.).

· Habituated to extensive field work Need reporting and mail communication skills

Responsibilities & Context

Resource Integration Centre (RIC) has been a national NGO since 1981 in Bangladesh. RIC is implementing the Noakhali Flood Early Recovery Project in the Noakhali Sadar & Subarnachar Upzilla funded by World Vision, Bangladesh. RIC is seeking applications from potential candidates for the below position:

PROGRAM:  Noakhali Flood Early Recovery ProjectLocation: Noakhali Sadar & Subarnachar Upzilla under Noakhali District.

Post type: Contract (October’ 2024 – June’ 2025),

SCOPE OF ROLE:

• Staff reportable to Project Coordinator, Program Focal, Representative of Partner WVB,

• Staff maintain liaison with All project staff, Programme Focal and Finance Focal of RIC  , Staff & Representatives of partner WVB

• Staff based at Noakhali Sadar Upazila under Noakhali District.

• Working Area: 6 Unions under Noakhali Sadar & Subarnachar Upzilla  of Noakhali District.

OVERALL ROLE OF THIS POSITION:

· Prepare fund requirements for the project.

· Maintain all books and accounts as required by the project and agreement. Maintain other related registers/books e.g., assets register, stock register, salary register, etc.

· Track and monitor expenditures all kinds of activities and provide feedback to respective persons

· Record all types of transactions in the books of accounts by preparing necessary vouchers based on the project chart of accounts.

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly & final financial reports and other financial statements as required.

· Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.

· Check randomly, bills and vouchers in the field following the action plan.·       Support and coordinate the project’s internal audit, external audit, financial monitoring, and visit by donors and other related authorities.

· Maintain fixed assets register and conduct physical monthly verification of assets and prepare fixed assets report.

· Petty cash maintenance

· Cash deposit to the bank on time

· Ensure vendor payment

· Deduct VAT/Tax as per Govt. rules & filing it

· Process Facilitator/Volunteer monthly payment

· Prepared daily voucher interface and ensure approval in all voucher top sheet·       Ensure all payment including Vat & Tax within month.

· Maintain and filing of all financial important document

· Follow all the partnership agreements and well communication with partner Organization

.Ensuring all purchase is duly accomplished according to the purchasing policy

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•Assist the PC in planning, monitoring, and supervising the implementation of project activities.

• Maintain accurate and complete financial records for the project, including income, expenditure, and asset management.

• Prepare and submit regular financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) to the PC and WVB Management.

• Ensure compliance with RIC & WVB financial policies and procedures.

• Process payments to project vendors and other services timely and accurate.

• Manage payroll for project staff.

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

• Develop and implement a robust Management Information System (MIS) for the project.

• Design and maintain databases for project data, including financial data, monitoring data, and project activities.

• Generate reports and dashboards to track project progress and performance against indicators.

• Provide data analysis and support to the PC.

• Liaise with stakeholders, and donor representatives regarding financial and MIS systems.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the PC as per instruction from WVB & RIC Management.
