WORKING EXPERIENCES:
· A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Monitoring & Evaluation of any developing project.
· Designing and programming database management systems is an added experience.
· Must be able to perform software development fundamentals, problem-solving, debugging, tuning, and database security is required.
NECESSARY SKILLS:
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams and multi-cultural environments.
·Good report writing in English.
· Fluency in Bengali and English is required. A Noakahli local language is preferable.
· Computer software skill (MS-Word, Excel and Access, F2Go, KoBo, etc.). Experienced on computer application.
· Excellent E-mail communication both with donors and partners.
· Habituated to extensive field work·
Need reporting skills and mail communications.Women candidate will be given priority.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: Masters in statistics, Sociology, social welfare, anthropology or relevant discipline is required.
Responsibilities & Context
Resource Integration Centre (RIC) has been a national NGO since 1981 in Bangladesh. RIC is implementing the Noakhali Flood Early Recovery Project in the Noakhali Sadar & Subarnachar Upzilla funded by World Vision, Bangladesh. RIC is seeking applications from potential candidates for the below position:
PROGRAM: Noakhali Flood Early Recovery ProjectLocation: Noakhali Sadar & Subarnachar Upzilla under Noakhali District.
Post type: Contract (October’ 2024 – June’ 2025),
SCOPE OF ROLE:
• Staff reportable to Project Coordinator, Program Focal of RIC.
• Staff maintain liaison with All project staff , Programme focal RIC, Representatives of Partner (WVB),
• Staff based at Noakhali Sadar Upazila under Noakhali District. Working Area: 6 Unions under Noakhali Sadar & Subarnachar Upzilla of Noakhali District.
OVERALL ROLE OF THIS POSITION:
· Assist the PC in planning, monitoring, and supervising the implementation of project activities.
· Develop and implement a robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) system for the project, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
· Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress, assess results, and identify any challenges or deviations.
· Collect and manage data related to project activities, outcomes, and indicators.
· Prepare regular progress reports and other M&E reports for the PC, IE, and RIC/WVB Management.
· Liaise with partner NGOs, government agencies, and local communities to facilitate data collection and ensure project compliance.
· Assist in conducting baseline surveys and impact assessments to measure project effectiveness.
· Provide technical support to Field Facilitators on M&E and data collection methods.
·Organize and participate in trainings on M&E for project stakeholders.· Assist the PC in ensuring quality and timely completion of project deliverables.
Perform any other duties assigned by the PC as per instruction from RIC Management.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
A. The M&E Officer will be responsible for regular monitoring in compliance with project database systems.
B. Responsible for IGA support, construction, reconstruction activities, cash for work, etc. tracking, writing, and reporting;
C. Other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Compensation & Other Benefits
Salary: Taka 83,200.00 per month, plus other admissible benefits according to the program budget & guideline
