Responsibilities & Context

Plan and schedule dyeing operations based on production requirements, fabric types, and delivery deadlines.

Coordinate with the production and planning departments to ensure proper scheduling of dyeing batches.

Ensure that each dyeing batch is prepared as per customer requirements, including color, shade, and finish.

Oversee the dyeing process, ensuring that procedures are followed according to the standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Monitor machine settings, dye formulations, and time/temperature controls to ensure consistency in dyeing.

Ensure proper color matching and adherence to shade standards by using laboratory tests and visual checks.

Supervise the dosing and mixing of dyes, chemicals, and auxiliaries to prevent errors.

Ensure that dyed fabrics meet the required quality standards, including shade consistency, color fastness, and finish.

Perform quality checks at various stages of the dyeing process to identify any issues early on.

Resolve issues related to dyeing defects such as streaks, uneven dyeing, color variations, or patchiness.
