Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an English Medium School (IB/Cambridge/Edexcel).
Experience teaching within the Cambridge Lower Secondary or IGCSE curriculum is highly preferred.
Minimum two-year commitment is required for this role.
Relocation to Narsingdi is necessary.
High proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is essential.
Enthusiastic and empathetic attitude towards working with young learners.
Goal-oriented and able to manage tasks effectively under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office and G Suite is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Responsibilities & Context
Plan, prepare, and deliver effective English lessons for Grades 6-8, following the Cambridge Lower Secondary English/ESL curriculum.
Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that fosters learning and student confidence in language acquisition.
Develop lesson plans that meet the individual learning needs of students and encourage a high standard of performance.
Monitor and assess students’ progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents.
Use a variety of teaching methodologies, including interactive techniques, to ensure a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
Participate in school events, training sessions, and professional development activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including lesson plans, assessments, and report cards.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote a holistic approach to student learning.
