Requirements

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management .

  • Master’s degree in any discipline.

  • PGD in HRM or Compliance will be preferable.

Experience

  • At least 10 years

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 40 years
  • Experience: At least 10 years in 100% Export Oriented Garments Industry and capable to handle all kinds of compliance related Audit.

  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile.

  • Strong knowledge of Labor law 2006, Labor Rules 2015 & Latest Amendment.

  • Good interpersonal & communication skills.

  • Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities & Context

Responsibilities:

  • To handle all kinds of technical audit, Social, Environmental & Security and ensure buyers COC and requirements on deadline.

  • Make good relation with govt bodies, third party audit firm, RSC.

  • Sound knowledge about buyer’s COC, Labor Law 2006 and Labor Rules.

  • Ensure 100% implementation of buyer’s COC, Labor Law 2006 and Labor Rules.

  • Direct work experience with brand like – INDITEX, PRIMARK, LPP, H&M, C&A, etc.

  • Ensure the factories always prepared/ready for following audits like, Social compliance Audit, Technical/Quality Assurance Audit & Security System Audit (CTPAT).

  • Monitor certification like ISO, BCI, GRS, RCS, GOTS, OEKOTEX, WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX, ACCORD, & ALLINCE etc and able to face their different audits with requirements.

  • Ensure Compliance on Health & Safety as per in house check list. Sound knowledge about all committee like PC, Safety, Anti-Harassment etc.

  • Follow up / take instant corrective action on auditors certain minor findings /discrepancies during audit.

  • Follow up that all corrective action has been taken/follow up; regularly as per CAP submitted.

  • Relationship with merchandising, Production and QA Department in order to coordinate with Buyers visits and take all necessary steps for facing the buyers/ Govt. and compliance visit and audit.

  • Communicate with BKMEA, BGMEA, Compliance Auditors, Fire & Civil defense Department, Labor Office, Labor Court, Police Station, Local Influences and Labour Federation etc.

  • To lead, direct, control, motivate, appraise & trained-up fellow staffs. Follow up Environmental issue.

  • Design training schedule for skill development. Monitoring sub-unit compliance issue.

  • Like- print, embroidery, all over print etc. Assist in preparing/ updating policies for compliance.

  • Counsel the absentee workers as referred by HR section, in view to reduce absenteeism & turnover.

  • Arrange training such as Orientation, Health & Safety, Fire Training, First Aid, and security awareness training, etc. effectively.

  • Report to the head office management regularly if there is any discrepancy.

  • Any other job assigned by Management.
