Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science.

• Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Science will be get preference.

Responsibilities & Context

• 100% Honest in all aspect.
• Works to assist fulfill environment and chemical management system according to brands’ guideline and national and international standards.
• Fulfill the requirements of Environment module of HIGG INDEX FEM Version 4.0 and Collect data monthly, annual and bi-annual as per demand of guideline.
• Understand reports of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Management planning (EMP).
• Take plan for improving the parameter on environmental assessment.
• Take part in developing newer policies on environmental management and ensure the practices as per policy.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with ECR utility department, maintenance department, and administration.
• Take part in conducting internal audits to find out gaps and then ensure the standards of environmental aspects.
• Face various types of audits regarding environmental issues.
• Maintain and ensure Brands’ MR (Minimum Requirement) of environmental aspects.
• Ensure good practice in chemical storage, handling, secondary containment, segregation disposal & special care of sensitive and hazardous chemicals.
• Generate and implement befitting ideas to improve the conditions of environmental efficiencies.
• Periodically submit application to DOE for waste water/ETP and air emission test.
• Complete Drinking water, air emission and noise level test as per regulation.
• Ensure best chemical management practice in the factory related section.
• Ensure Buyer code of conduct of Chemical, Maintain environmental, safe chemical handling, waste management policy.
• Monitor ETP waste water discharge, evaluate the environmental parameters as per DOE standard and achieve BSR standard.
• Understand the ZDHC, Blue sign, Oeko Tex Step, GOTS, GRS, IPE gateway and others chemical and dyes related issues.
• Sound have knowledge on USGBC Green Building Council.
• Understand MRSL, RSL, SDS, MSDS and maintain documentation properly Ensure proper guideline about chemical purchasing issue Ensure proper chemical management in the chemical store and floor.
