Requirements

Education

  • Graduation or Post Graduation degree in any discipline e from any reputed public/private universities.

  • Candidates with CMA partly qualified who worked with store/ warehouse operations will get preference.   

Experience

  • 12 to 15 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Textile, Group of Companies

Additional Requirements

  • Age 40 to 45 years
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in warehouse/store management, with at least 3 years in a senior management role in the same department of textile or manufacturing industry.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning Company’s financial, suppliers and employee’s information.

  • Expertise in inventory management, including stock analysis, monthly projections, and reorder level management.

  • Good at advance inventory analysis & assist replenishing materials based on order projection.

  • Strong understanding of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and its application in material planning.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

We are looking a dynamic and responsible ” Assistant /Deputy General Manager” in Store Department for our Paramount Textile PLC Factory situated at Gilarchala, Sreepur, Gazipur.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness of stock records.

  • Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking and ensure timely procurement of yarn, dyes chemical & other materials.

  • Ensure accuracy in material planning and ordering based on BOQ analysis & order projection to support production goals.

  • Ensure smooth operations in the warehouse, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials.

  • Ensure the timely dispatch of finished goods to meet customer delivery deadlines.

  • Implement and maintain safe storage practices and optimal warehouse layout to improve workflow and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality control teams to meet production requirements and minimize downtime due to material shortages.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve warehouse and inventory management processes, reducing lead times and costs.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the store team to ensure high levels of productivity and adherence to company policies.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and develop the skills of store personnel.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on stock levels, inventory turnover, reorder points, and monthly projections for senior management.

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation for all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.

  • Ensure that all operations in the store comply with company policies, buyers’ COC, legal regulations, safety standards.

  • Monitor warehouse and inventory regularly to ensure accuracy and prevent any loss or damage of goods.

  • Any other tasks assigned by management.
