Experience Requirements

At least 6 years of experience in coordinating large-scale health projects, preferably in a consortium setting.

Experience in coordinating or managing large-scale public health or health systems strengthening projects, preferably within USAID or donor-funded programs.

Experience working with government health systems, particularly in the context of Bangladesh, and a proven track record of collaboration with local authorities.

Job Purpose

Senior Manager, Partnership Management will Coordinate and manage implementation to Improve health outcomes by strengthening local-level health systems and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, integrated public health services.
About the role
-
The USAID/Bangladesh Strengthening Local Level Health Systems (SLLHS) project is a five-year initiative aimed at strengthening local health systems to deliver equitable, high-quality public health services. The project, led by RTI International in partnership with BRAC, focuses on four key objectives: strengthening systems for evidence-based planning, improving service delivery, enhancing the enabling environment for health systems, and building resilience at the local level.

BRAC’s role includes providing technical expertise in community engagement, health systems resilience, climate change integration, and social accountability
Job Responsibilities
-
Coordinate the implementation of project activities, ensuring alignment with USAID’s objectives, and adherence to the project’s technical framework and timelines and other external stakeholders.

Lead day-to-day coordination with consortium partners (RTI International, BRAC, and other stakeholders) and ensure the smooth delivery of project components.
-
Facilitate collaboration across technical teams to integrate activities under key objectives such as social accountability, community engagement, and climate resilience in health systems.

Support the development and implementation of Health System Improvement Plans (HSIPs), ensuring community resource mobilization and resilience-building are prioritized.

Collaborate with BRAC’s technical experts, particularly in health systems resilience and climate adaptation, to incorporate cross-cutting themes throughout the project.

Facilitate discussions and agreements with health system stakeholders to support the achievement of project goals and address challenges

Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to the technical leadership team, including workplans, updates on achievements, and input for learning activities.

Contribute to the dissemination of lessons learned, success stories, and best practices to stakeholders, fostering project visibility and scaling of successful interventions.

Represent the project at coordination meetings with the Ministry of Health, USAID, and other key stakeholders at both national and local levels.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
-
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
