Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

The Packaging Supervisor will oversee all packaging operations at the floor to ensure that products are packed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. This role includes managing the packaging team, Operate relevant Packaging Machinery, coordinating with other departments, and meeting daily packaging targets in line with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Packaging Operations: Oversee the daily packaging activities, ensuring that products are packed accurately, efficiently, and according to company standards.

• Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, train, and mentor the packaging team to achieve production goals and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

• Ensure end-to-end smooth line operations at the site. Ensure manpower setup as per layout and monitor the operations.

• Quality Control: Ensure that all packaging is done in compliance with quality standards and that packaging materials meet specifications. Address any issues related to product defects or packaging errors.

• Equipment Maintenance & Coordination: Work with the maintenance team to ensure all packaging machinery is well-maintained, regularly inspected, and in good working condition to avoid disruptions.

• Inventory & Material Management: Monitor packaging materials and supplies, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure stock levels are adequate for continuous operation.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including output, waste, and any issues encountered. Prepare daily/weekly reports for management review.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance packaging efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product presentation.

• Communication & Coordination: Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of finished products.
