Responsibilities & Context

Process night audit for rooms
-
Process night for F&B outlets
-
Check daily cash transactions and inform Income Auditor for action on discrepancies
-
Prepare daily reports by 9 A.M
-
Check daily room revenue
-
Check daily F&B revenue
-
Check other operating department revenue daily
-
Check daily cashiers audit report
-
Check daily Room Rates
-
Check daily Room discrepancy report
-
Check daily Out of order rooms
-
Check all allowances/adjustments are supported with approved back-up
-
Check all refunds/paid-outs supported with back-up and guest signature
-
Check banquet revenue is posted correctly
-
Check all NRM / NRA posted correctly and supported by back-up
-
Check all credit cards purchases are posted correctly
-
Check all credit cards are reconciled and tallied with purchase slips and posting
-
Check late checkout charges are charged accordingly
-
Serial controls of cash receipts and outlet checks
-
Check all office entertainment checks that they contain all required details and summary prepared as per procedure
-
Same to be forwarded to FC & GM for approval on a daily basis
-
Checks all guest calls are charged to guest folios
-
Checks all interface are working properly Have good knowledge of all hotel facilities and be able to answer Guest questions in a quick, polite and helpful manner

Handles any guest complaints or problems promptly and to ensure that all resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to your Managers

Ensures Company, hotel and statutory rules, regulations and policies are adhered to at all times

Acts on your responsibilities for Health and Safety at work
-
Demonstrates a working knowledge of fire prevention and to ensure that staff follows the hotel evacuation procedures on hearing the alarm
-
Communicates positively with staff, colleagues and your Managers to ensure effective teamwork and high morale

Attends training sessions/courses that may be beneficial to you and your department

Carries out any reasonable tasks requested by the FM/DOF Print all required reports and distribute accordingly
