Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Media Clippers to join our team in a pioneering role in the Bangladeshi media landscape. This role is essential in capturing, analyzing, and archiving relevant media content, contributing to a fresh and growing industry within Bangladesh. The ideal candidate is proficient in both English and Bangla, has strong computer skills, and can navigate digital media efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of media monitoring, helping to shape the industry in Bangladesh.

Key Responsibilities:

Clip and Archive: Review and clip relevant news and media content from various TV channels, radio stations, newspapers, and online sources.

Analyze Content: Identify key information that aligns with company requirements, including specific themes, keywords, or news categories.

Documentation and Reporting: Organize and catalog clips with accurate descriptions and metadata for easy retrieval and reference.

Language Proficiency: Clip and summarize content in both English and Bangla as per reporting guidelines.

Data Management: Use software tools to upload, tag, and store media content for future access by the team.

Requirements:

Computer Literacy: Proficient with Windows or Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic file management. Comfortable learning new software.

Language Skills: Strong command of English and Bangla, with the ability to read, understand, and summarize content accurately in both languages.

Attention to Detail: Ability to work methodically, ensuring clips are accurate, properly tagged, and easily accessible.

Organizational Skills: Well-organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with media monitoring or archiving tools.

Basic knowledge of media and news industry trends in Bangladesh.
