Responsibilities & Context

The HVAC Field Sales Representative will be responsible for driving HVAC product sales through direct client engagement, identifying new sales opportunities, and building lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Sales & Client Acquisition:

  • Identify, approach, and secure new clients for Walton’s HVAC products by conducting site visits, meetings, and cold calls.

  • Travel within the assigned territory to visit potential clients, assess their needs, and recommend appropriate HVAC solutions.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, engineers, and other key stakeholders.

  • Serve as a primary contact for customers and act as a liaison between clients and the technical support team when needed.

Product Presentation & Education:

  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Walton’s HVAC products, features, and installation requirements.

  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to effectively communicate Walton’s HVAC value propositions.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

  • Keep informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the HVAC market.

  • Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customer preferences, market needs, and competitor positioning.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Document all sales activities, including client interactions, follow-ups, and status updates, in the Company’s online system.

  • Prepare and submit sales reports, market analysis, and pipeline updates to the Sales Manager.
