Requirements

Education

• Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering

• Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology,Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology,Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology,Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) students will get preference

Experience

• 5 to 10 years

Additional Requirements

• Previous experience of working for an Architectural Firm will be given preference.      

• 2-5 years practical experience in structural modeling, analysis and design of steel, composite and RC structure with ETABS, TEKLA etc. software.      

• The applicants should have good knowledge about steel & R.C.C. building detailing & BNBC, ACI & ASCE code for designing.

Responsibilities & Context

• Structural modeling, analysis and design of new and existing Steel and RCC structure with ETABS, TEKLA etc. software as well as manual calculation and able to develop MS spread sheets for design calculations.     

• Must be a registered member of IEB.     

• Design and Analyze the Steel Structure for the governing loads conditions as per the code requirement as well as prepare master design specifications, dimensions, thickness etc. and Prepare connection design for Steel and RCC structure.     

• Supervision and preparation of Shop/fabrication & Erection drawing of steel structure or pre-engineered steel structure using AutoCAD and TEKLA/ ETABS. 

• Preparing appropriate documentation, supporting evaluations and analysis (calculations, technical reports, BOQ etc.).     

• To work independently and as well to lead the structural team and attending Technical meetings with Architectural Team and clients.    

• To manage multiple projects and meet deadlines as well as Guiding and coordination of different activities of the construction sites in order to make the team work effectively and successfully.      

• Check measurement book (MB) and prepare Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for both RCC and Steel Structure.      

• Prepare estimation, check requisition list, quantity & quality and inventory      

• Coordinate with procurement and delivery department as well as Ensure proper inventory of all stores/materials at site.      

• Guiding and coordination of different activities of the construction sites and make the team work effective and successful.      

• Providing support to Designers & other departments as required by the Management.
