Responsibilities & Context
Oversee and manage technical interfaces between various subsystems such as civil works, track systems, signaling, rolling stock, electrical and mechanical systems, and station facilities.Coordinate with different project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely information exchange and resolution of interface issues.
Develop and implement interface control documents (ICDs) and processes to track interface requirements and changes
Collaborate closely with design, construction, and system integration teams to ensure that all system interfaces are compatible and fully integrated into the overall metro system.
Organize regular interface coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor interface progress and resolve conflicts.
Analyze and validate technical designs to ensure interface requirements are met for all systems and subsystems.
Perform gap analysis and risk assessments for potential interface conflicts, developing strategies for mitigation.
Support testing and commissioning phases by ensuring all interface requirements are tested and validated.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of all interface issues, decisions, and resolutions.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of interface activities, issues, and risks.
Act as the primary point of contact for all interface-related queries between contractors, consultants, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Ensure that all interface documentation is aligned with regulatory and safety standards.
