Job Context: We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager for Government and Private sectors. This role involves developing relationships with government and private agencies, navigating procurement processes, and managing sales to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of corporate sales, government contracting, procurement cycles, and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve growth in the government and private sector ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with government and private agencies, key decision-makers, and influencers to drive revenue growth.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including responding to a tender, EOI, and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), understanding government procurement regulations, and ensuring compliance.
  • Research and identify new opportunities, ensuring early engagement and positioning for success.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, analyze performance data, and report to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for growth.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements, managing contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Work with other departments, such as technical, finance, and product, to align resources for sales initiatives and ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Stay informed about government policy changes, budget cycles, and trends in public sector spending to anticipate and respond to market needs.
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and special promotions;
