Responsibilities & Context
Job Context:
Meghna Noodles & Biscuit Factory Ltd. (MNBFL), a sister concern of Meghna Group of Industries (MGI), has been producing a wide range of products (e.g., wafer, chocolate, biscuit, bread & toast, bun, Honeylove, noodles, cake, chanachur, motor vaja, jhalmuri, puffed rice, candy & lollipop, dal vaja, etc.) since 2019. Currently, MGI is searching for proactive and dedicated professionals for Biscuit production line under MNBFL factory premises. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production process, ensuring manufacturing goals are achieved efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness and will report to Functional Head for duties & responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and oversee overall production activities and team performance to achieve targeted production of biscuit and bakery products.

Assess order demand in collaboration with the sales & marketing department and formulate a comprehensive production plan to meet delivery schedules.

Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, minimize process loss, and reduce downtime for cost-effective operations.

Optimize and control material flow to maintain minimum inventory levels and ensure efficient resource utilization.

Establish and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), and relevant ISO standards to produce safe and high-quality food products.

Monitor quality assurance processes to meet the quality goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with relevant departments regularly for uninterrupted production and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
-
Maintain machine and manpower efficiency for optimum utilization of plant production capacity.

Develop contingency plans to address production disruptions, including raw material shortages, machine breakdowns, or labor issues to minimize impact.

Maintain adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies, mitigating potential risks.

Use data analytics to monitor production metrics, including yield, efficiency, and waste, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Supervise production teams to maximize their potential by providing training, mentoring, and guidance that contributes to the growth of the organization.

Prepare daily, weekly & monthly production reports such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) reports, machine downtime & utilization reports, and raw materials & packaging materials consumption reports etc with proper documentation and submit them to the line manager as and when required.
