Education

Responsibilities & Context

Responsibilities related to training and development: 

  • Develop annual training calendar/plan based on training needs and undertake necessary activities to ensure the timely and effective implementation of it.

  • Prepare annual budget covering the entire areas of costs like required equipment, resource persons and overhead & personnel to implement the annual training calendar/plan.

  • Evaluate productivity and return on investment following each training & development session.

  • Ensure the availability of necessary training materials (flipchart, VIIP cards, anti-cutter blades, sharpeners, markers, clips, projectors, pen drives, pins, stands, laptop, stapler, scotch tape, glue, different kits, writing pads, pencils, pens, and highlighters) and their proper handling and preservation.

  • Maintain regular training reports and keep them available.§  Maintain constant and regular liaison with existing and prospective sponsors (ICRC, JICA, KOICA, CBM, GIZ, CDD, ManusherJonno Foundation, professional bodies e.g. BPA, BOTA, BMA, Nursing Council, Ministry of Health, Dhaka University, bdjobs, Bangladesh-Japan Training Institute (BJTI), BRAC, Glencoe Foundation etc.) to organize need based training and to pursue new scopes or opportunities for training.

  • Assist in developing individual development plan (IDP) and follow them up with concerned employees/departments on a regular basis.

  • Work with different project coordinators in order to facilitate training & development opportunities of CRP employees.

  • Assist employees in relevant activities like drafting training notes, making cash advance, filling up application forms/nomination forms, issuing NOC/experience/reference letters etc.

  • Provide or arrange classroom training, group sessions, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, mentorship/counseling/coaching sessions, and workshops as required and requested.

  • Ensure the participations of participants and facilitators as planned or scheduled.

  • Provide support in arranging logistics, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements, and cost management related tasks.

  • Arrange/prepare printed manuals, handouts, training videos, power point presentations etc.

  • Arrange follow-up sessions upon the completion of local or international training & development sessions like for arranging follow-up sessions/agreement signing etc.

  • Review existing training materials to determine appropriateness and relevance.

  • Work with others to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments.

  • Conduct TNA (Training Needs Assessment) before sending employees for training & development sessions.

  • Research new technologies and methodologies and their applicability in CRP in realm of training and development.

  • Conduct opinion surveys or needs assessments as required and requested.

  • Design and deliver all performance and talent management processes including the performance and talent review cycles, 360 feedback, succession planning and career management.

  • Ensure the smooth distribution of training and development opportunities.  

Responsibilities related to CRP Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection & Safeguarding Policy and Procedures:

  • The CRP Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection & Safeguarding Policy and Procedures focal person has the main responsibility for managing child protection issues of CRP,

  • To ensure that Top management and all the employees are appraised and updated on a regular basis on the implementation and auditing of the CRP Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection & Safeguarding Policy and Procedures.

  • To develop systems, policies, procedures, resources and structures in CRP that ensure the highest standards with regard to CRP Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection & Safeguarding Policy and Procedures are in place.

  • To ensure that there are robust and transparent systems for monitoring, review and auditing of all aspects of CRP Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection & Safeguarding Policy and Procedures policy in CRP.

  • To advise and facilitate CRP Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection & Safeguarding Policy and Procedures training to the employees, volunteers who come into contact with child and vulnerable adults, Child patient care giver and their parents.

  • To ensure that all newly joined employees and volunteers are aware about the policy and sign on the consent paper.

  • To review and update the CRP’s Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection & Safeguarding Policy and Procedures regularly to ensure the best practice.

  • To promote and ensure that child safeguarding is afforded high priority and is integrated into all functions within CRP.

  • To ensure that an up to date register is maintained,

  • To collect, analysis and produce regular reports with regard to the implementation of CRP Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection & Safeguarding Policy and Procedures including incident monitoring, review and audit.

  • To work in a professional manner at all times that reflects the values and culture of CRP. 

Responsibilities related to human resources operations:

  • Conduct on boarding sessions for new employees.

  • Collect and preserve training reports, training feedback forms, training certificates, training attendance forms, contact information of resource persons/organizers.

  • Draft and preserve training related contracts/agreements as required and requested.

  • Assist the department in day-to-day human resource operations as required and requested.

  • Work and contribute effectively as a team member with other members of HRD.

  • Any other job assigned by the supervisor.
