Job Context

The Centre for Injury Prevention and Research, Bangladesh (CIPRB) is one of the leading organizations dedicated to public health research in Bangladesh. We are looking for a Fundraising and Project Development Manager for immediate appointment.

Responsibilities:

• The position will be supervised by and reportable to the Executive Director of the organization.
• Lead on the development/review and implementation of the organizational fundraising strategy, working with the Executive Director and Senior Management Team to develop a sustainable and diverse funding base. It will focus on different grant fundraising and identifying corporate funding opportunities and innovations for generating core/unrestricted funding.
• Support the development of quality proposals to grant-making bodies, both nationally and internationally.
• Review concept notes and proposals including budgets and planning tools, such as logical frameworks, to ensure they meet donor criteria and are consistent with narrative proposals.
• Support national and international partners to identify and respond to relevant funding opportunities for CIPRB’s programmes, with emphasis on global drowning and water safety – where appropriate, support the development of joint funding proposals, as required.
• Other responsibilities, as advised by the supervisor.
