Requirements

Education

• Diploma in MATS or HSC/equivalent degree from any government recognized institutions.

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 35 years

• Year of experience in health program related work in an international organization in a Rajshahi context. Previous experience in USAID projects is encouraged to apply.
• Maximum age limit: 35 years but age flexible for highly qualified candidates.
• Have valid driving license and willingness to drive motorcycle.

Position Overview

The community facilitator/organizer will be mobilized of the Sushastho Maitree Project in the field level activities. Ensuring effective coordination & communication, data collection and implement activities, monitoring and follow up the activities, awareness raising, and capacity building of community stakeholders and ensure any other tasks assigned by the organization.

Job Location

• Rajshahi, Bangladesh with frequent field visits in the project areas.
• Major Responsibilities:
• Mobilization and Awareness
• To make the community aware of the objectives and goals of the project.
• To ensure community participation.
• To ensure the health and nutrition of the beneficiaries at the community level.
• To form teams, increase their capacity and make them self-reliant, organize and conduct workshops, meetings or discussion meetings.
• To implement the nutrition support program to ensure the health and nutrition of TB patients.
• Data Collection and Evaluation
• To identify the needs and problems of the community.
• To use questionnaires or survey forms to collect data.
• To prepare survey reports and inform to the higher authorities.
• To evaluate programs data and submit report to the concern authorities.
• Planning and Implementation
• To participate in the implementation of activities according to the project plan.
• To implement health camps and telemedicine service activities at the community level.
• To conduct field visits to complete the work on time.
• Implement the project activities in coordination with the community members.
• Installation and management of waste bins for waste management at the local level in the project implementation area
• Training and Capacity Building
• Organizing training for community stakeholders.
• Collaborate with local leaders and capacity building.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Assisting in collecting information from project beneficiaries, online data entry through mobile/tab, and preparing reports.
• Preparing daily, weekly or monthly activity reports.
• Providing regular updates on project progress.
• Documented all of the data and files keep it accordingly.
• Coordination and Communication
• Coordinating with local authorities, other organizations and stakeholders.
• Assisting in solving community problems.
• Monitoring and Follow-up
• Monitoring the quality and impact of project activities.
• Ensuring follow-up activities.
• Problem Solving and Dispute Resolution
• Working to resolve problems that arise within the community.
• Playing a role in conflict resolution.
• Respect for local culture and customs
• Understand and respect the language, culture and customs of the community.
• Create a participatory and inclusive environment.
• Develop recycling enterprises at the local level.
• Reporting and plan update
• Share project-related information and receive feedback.
• Develop future plans based on activities.

Compensation & Other Benefits

Tk. 15,000 (Monthly)

Festival bonus and other benefits will be providing as per project Budget.
