Responsibilities & Context
As a Japanese Language Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality language instruction to students with varying levels of proficiency in Japanese such as JLPT and JPT exams. You will work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, teaching both group classes and private lessons to individuals of different ages and backgrounds. Your primary objective will be to facilitate effective language learning and foster a deep understanding and appreciation for the Japanese language and culture.·
Job Responsibilities:
- JLPT and JPT Test management: The overall training to the students to make them prepare for JLPT, JPT, NAT exams online and offline basis. Train and teach the examination process, preparation and how to earn the required score.·
- Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that align with established learning objectives and cater to the specific needs and goals of the students.·
- Classroom Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive Japanese language lessons that promote active participation and facilitate effective communication skills development. Utilize various teaching methodologies, including lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience.·
- Individualized Instruction: Provide personalized attention and support to students through one-on-one sessions, identifying their strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. Offer constructive feedback, monitor progress, and implement strategies to address individual learning challenges.·
- Assessments and Progress Tracking: Administer regular assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate students’ language proficiency and track their progress over time. Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and other relevant student information.·
- Cultural Integration: Incorporate cultural elements into the curriculum to deepen students’ understanding of Japanese customs, traditions, etiquette, and societal norms. Encourage cultural sensitivity and awareness among students to foster cross-cultural communication skills.·
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, respect, and collaboration among students. Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and conducive learning atmosphere.·
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow teachers, language coordinators, and other staff members to exchange ideas, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Japanese language program. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and stakeholders to provide updates on progress and address any concerns.·
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies, educational trends, and advancements in Japanese language instruction. Attend professional development workshops, conferences, and training sessions to enhance your teaching skills and knowledge.
